Conrad Praetzel digs into his archaeological background to unearth musical treasures from throughout time. Praetzel uses keyboards and percussion extensively to create his effects, but does not lean on exotic tricks. His compositions unfold with extraordinary ingenuity and delight. "The Awakening" is a shimmering mirage evoking the classical dances of India, while "Caravan of Rogues" brings up images of a lumbering "great escape" on camel. "After the Fair" hints romantically at lush rolling hills and bagpipes echoing through the glen. Much to explore! |
